There’s always something to experience on this delightful little farm. Visitors can explore everything it has to offer on the website, but the true magic can only be felt when you visit in person. Dogs – on a leash – are more than welcome! They can enjoy a refreshing bowl of water, and those who want to spoil their loyal companion can treat them to a delicious dog ice cream, packed with fresh fruit. After spending time with the animals, it’s wonderful to relax on the terrace with a local drink in hand, surrounded by peaceful green countryside. In the café, you’ll find a weekly selection of homemade desserts and farm-fresh ice creams, lovingly prepared with the finest local ingredients. Snoetjes & Toetjes is a place where young and old, people and animals alike, come together to share the simple joys of country life.

We headed to Nieuwerkerken to discover this Winston Welcome spot, and wow, what a find! You’re welcomed by super friendly ladies, the interior is warm and cozy, and there are lovely little animals to meet. And if you’re a big Koi fan like me, you definitely need to take a look by the pond 😉 Add a nice drink and some delicious sweets, and you’ve got everything for a perfect stop. What really makes it for us? The genuine love for dogs. Winston was immediately spoiled with a bowl of fresh water and lots of attention. They even have dog ice cream, how fun is that? It’s a bit of a drive for us, but this is absolutely a place we’re happy to go out of our way for, we’ll definitely be back!
