Streekcafé - provinciaal streekcentrum Huysmanhoeve
In a beautifully restored barn at the Huysmanhoeve, the Streekcafé welcomes visitors for a relaxing moment with a local beer and a tasty bite. On sunny days, the terrace is the perfect place to unwind, offering a lovely view over the grounds. The menu features a selection of local delicacies and a small lunch offering, with dishes such as quiche and soup made from fresh vegetables grown on the farm itself. The focus is on simplicity, quality, and a warm experience. From April 1 to October 4, 2026, the Streekcafé is open from Wednesday to Sunday, between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., including public holidays. Occasionally, a Friday evening becomes extra special with a small-scale event such as live music, a performance, or a quiz. Service is provided by an enthusiastic team of students, flexi-workers, and volunteers, who are happy to assist and always open for a friendly chat. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.

When are dogs allowed?
Dogs are always welcome. Please note that it can be quite busy during events, and many families with young children visit the site. We recommend checking our website in advance to see if anything is happening, and to take into account the wellbeing of your dog as well as that of other visitors. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
